Its name is inspired by the French word for "jewellery” and in fact the Bijou Table, from OKHA, has brought to life Adam Court’s fascination with eroded stones and for precious gemstones found in nature. Skilled artisan hands have painstakingly worked the brass and the coloured glass to give to the Bijou Table elemental reflections and organic forms. It has two shelves: the top one, which is made of coloured glass and which produces the effect of a piece of jewellery; and the bottom shelf, which completes this shimmering effect and is made of mirror polished solid brass, reflecting any object placed on top.
