Wrap Recess House

Strengthening ties with the sea

In the coastal area of California, in Los Angeles, we find a 3000-sqm residence, designed by Aaron Neubert Architects. This is a sustainable house where, thanks to its materials, it has been possible to incorporate long lines of vision spread throughout the interior. The use of plaster and cedar enhances the experience of the interior by highlighting a coastal landscape that ultimately strengthens the connection with the sea. Composed of two large courtyards, the house offers, on the ground floor, in addition to lots of natural light, a living room, dining room, kitchen, terrace and swimming pool. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, one of which assures a view of the Pacific Ocean. All that is left is to imagine what it would be like to watch the California sunset from the privacy of the Wrap Recess.
