Electric motorbike sells out in two hours

It’s nothing new that electric motorbikes have been gaining ground in the market. But a peculiar case has given new meaning to that demand, when the RV400 motorbike sold out all its models in India, in just two hours after it was launched. There is an explanation. The Indian government is committed to promoting the spread of electric vehicles, not least because the country is one of those with the highest motorbike traffic and, consequently, the most pollution in the world. As such, the Revolt Motors brand has used the state tax benefits as an incentive programme for purchase. By lowering the production cost, it achieved a very attractive price for the final consumer.
