The project developed by Atelier d’Arquitectura J.A. Lopes da Costa consists in extending the existing factory in São Roque, to the west and south, with the construction of a new pavilion and an administrative building. The area follows the proposed new street layout, giving rise to a curved concrete building, marked by vertical aluminium profiles. The corridor to the east creates the connection with the administrative area of the existing building. With a powerful plastic component, in an association with the mould manufacturing industry, it strives, through its language, to transmit a concept of contemporaneity, while at the same time associating the company’s brand.
