Located in Aljezur, in the Costa Vicentina Nature Park, RR House, a 260-sqm holiday home with a prime location on the seafront, is a contemporary interpretation of the region’s traditional architecture, in terms of volumes, construction solutions and materials. Designed by LADO Arquitectura e Design, a Lisbon-based firm that develops architecture and interior design studies and projects, the project comprises a white volume with traditional roof, elements that integrate in the surrounding rural context. The contemporary interior of the house is organised around a large living room that opens out, through glazed openings, to the landscape and the sea.
