Contemporary House

Environmentally friendly contemporaneity

This property occupies 1000 sqm of a total area of 7000 sqm and is inspired by one of nature’s four primordial elements – water –, given that the owners are yachting fans. Contemporary House is a sustainable house, surrounded by artificial lakes, endowing it with a pleasurable fresh sensation. The sustainable design allows, among other utilities, the reuse of rainwater, the heating and cooling of the house through solar energy, as well as the use of geothermal energy for energy saving. The house was built with eco-friendly materials and the interior furnishings are adapted to the owner’s needs and tastes, producing a space that combines luxury in an ergonomic environment, with minimalist lines. Several sculptures by John Aspras complete the decoration with a touch of the abstract. The project is by 314 Architecture Studio/Pavlos Chatziangelidis.
