Unveiled by Caesarstone, manufacturer of premium quality quartz surfaces, at Fuorisalone, during Milan Design Week, Altered States is an installation created by architecture and design studio Snarkitecture, which highlights the kitchen island as the most important area of the home. The project also emphasises the presence of water and its physical transformations. The installation features a large circular island, sculpted by Caesarstone, demarcating the centre. The quartz surfaces are layered, in a reference to natural topography. Then, through the physical states of water, fascinating experiences have been created.
