The goal was to achieve an eco-healthy workspace that would promote well-being, a greater ability to concentrate and increase productivity, the specialty of the Portuguese architecture, decoration and geoenvironmental health consultancy, Habitat Saudável. Thus, the project for the Sines Notary’s Office was designed in light of various approaches and competences such as: "Neuroarchitecture”, "Geoenvironmental Health”, "Biophilic Design”, "Biogeometric Architecture” and "Eco-sustainable Architecture”. The idea was to achieve certain conditions in the different workspaces, namely: natural light and healthy artificial lighting; adequate indoor air quality through the right choice of toxic-free construction materials; thermal comfort for the different users; use of organic and low environmental impact materials, such as natural paints, wood finishes, etc. The result is plain to see. But, more importantly, you can feel it in loco.
