On the occasion of Jorge Rey Colaço's 150th birthday, the Museu Nacional do Azulejo, in Lisbon, will be hosting the exhibition Jorge Colaço and the Figurative Tiles of his Time until June 28th. The exhibition focuses on the artist's works that belong to the Museum's collection, placing them in context with qualified specimens of the figurative tiles of his time. We all become aware of the existence of important documentary assets, acquired by the Museum from the artist's family in 2001. Furthermore, it presents eight tile panels from the collection of this Lisbon museum.
