The project by M2.senos involved extending the house of Aunt Amélia, in Ílhavo, Portugal, where there were already various interconnected spaces, but independent, leading to the presence of gabled roofs and of a fragmented composition. The solution was natural: that of creating another volume, with a single storey and flat roof, connected to the pre-existing spaces via terraces, which resulted in a balanced series of white and grey volumes topped with flat tiles.
